Contrary to what you might have heard, EV batteries are 95% recyclable! It’s actually pretty shocking how EV batteries are recycled, they are ground up with large industrial shredders.  The shredded material can then be chemically separated back out in to the primary elements such as Lithium, Nickle, and Cobalt. There is a demand in the battery industry for these recycled elements that helps make the process profitable for the recyclers.
